We had a lovely tasting at Reyneke. Great wines (glad I can buy them all back home at Systembolaget in Sweden) But the one who stood out the most was lovely Lauren, the wine ambassador, who explained the wine with lots of passion and love. You can feel and see how much she both love the wines, her work and the winery. Exceptionell tasting and so worth a visit! We will be back! Thanks again Lauren and good luck with everything! Such a lovely place and wines! We loved all the wines that we’ve tasted, we loved their story, philosophy. Special thanks to our host, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Reyneke Wines, near Stellenbosch is a must-visit boutique winery specializing in exquisite organic and biodynamic wines. Their range spans from refreshing whites to bold reds and trust me, they're all top-notch. The farm itself is a sight to behold, surrounded by vineyards and a beautiful view of the Helderberg mountains from the tasting room that'll take your breath away. The tasting room is intimate, but not cramped and you need to make a booking to go for a tasting. Our host, Lauren, was not only friendly but also knowledgeable. She shared insights about their organic and biodynamic practices, showing their commitment to sustainable winemaking. Reyneke offers a range of tasting options to suit your budget, from more wallet-friendly gems to their top-tier selection. We opted for the premium tasting, and each wine we tasted was filled with flavour and complexity. We even had an unexpected adventure on our way to and from the tasting room - due to maintenance work on the main entrance road after heavy rains, we had to navigate muddy farm roads. It was quite a thrilling ride, and we almost got stuck, but luckily we were driving in a "bakkie" (pick-up truck) and made it through. In summary, Reyneke Wines is a must-visit. The picturesque farm, intimate tastings, and exceptional wines combine to create an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back.
