Rainbow's End Wine Estate is a family-run winery in Stellenbosch located in the Banhoek Valley. Our estate sits on the slopes of the Jonkershoek Mountain at elevations up to 540 meters above sea level, looking out over the mountain basin.
Our family manages 22 hectares of trellised vineyards off Helshoogte Pass along Zevenrivieren Road. We produce boutique wines including Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, and Rosé.
Visitors can join us for guided wine tastings led by our team. Alongside our wine selection, we offer build-your-own sharing platters, light snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. Closed Sundays.
Family owned, smaller scale winery with the best views in the country. Came on tuesday 11:30 and we were the only guest and then got joined by a larger group. The views are mesmerizing and wines are amazing. Also, the wine advisor/sommelier seemed very knowledgeable, ubnderlying our feeling of being truly taken care of as guests and not just 1 in a million.

This place is a hidden gem. It's a bit of a drive into the mountain, but once you are there its out of this world.
Wine is amazing, staff are knowledgeable, and the farm is so night and not to talk about the amazing views.
They also have a option to basically build a platter. Which is amazing because if your table has picky people, then you can make a board for all to share.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make it your next wine tasting experience

Rainbows Wine Estate truly lives up to its name. Tucked away and hidden from the big, well-known wine estates, this place is a real hidden gem and an absolute insider tip.
The location is simply breathtaking with views so beautiful that you genuinely feel like this is where the rainbow ends. Peaceful, scenic, and incredibly special. Beyond the stunning setting, the wines themselves are excellent. I especially loved the Rosé: light, fresh, and perfect for warm summer evenings. The absolute standout, however, was the Cabernet Franc: elegant, expressive, and outstanding. It has also won several awards. That said, there is truly something here for every wine lover.
Another plus: you can also order small snacks and also non-alcoholic drinks.
Rainbows End is a full family-run estate, and you can feel that warmth and passion in every detail. Our lovely sommelier and service host took the time to explain the wines to us with great knowledge and enthusiasm, which made the tasting even more enjoyable and personal.
All in all, this is a must-visit for anyone looking for a truly special wine estate - small, intimate, and full of character. A huge recommendation for those who love discovering places that are small but truly exceptional.

This is a beautiful winery with the best view you could possibly imagine! Even the drive to get there is special, as you wind through narrow little country roads. The wines re terrific, in particular the Chenin Blanc which is one of the best I’ve tried. The staff are super knowledgeable and attentive, adding to a great experience.

We had an amazing experience at Rainbow’s End. The wines are nice, the views are beautiful and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. A special thank-you to Annique, who made our tasting unforgettable. She gave such a warm and good vibe, was incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about the wines. Her energy made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
