Lovely family Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and GREAT food and wine. Opstal has the most spectacular view of the mountains. Kids played outside exploring, jungle gym and water fun.

What an incredible experience at Opstal Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, everything was warm, welcoming, and beautifully put together. I had the pork belly, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and every element on the plate worked so well together. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. One of the highlights of our visit was getting the chance to chat with the chef. After speaking with him, it was so easy to understand why the food and the overall atmosphere are so exceptional. His genuine passion for creating amazing food and giving guests a memorable experience shines through in every aspect of the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Opstal Restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding food and fantastic hospitality.

A stunning spot for the whole family! We were hosted by the amazing Burt family and Louisa. The food was outstanding, wine 10/10 and service unmatched. Only an hours drive from home and the most beautiful scenery. Thank you for having us - we can't wait to try the burgers next! 😍

My wife and I both had a wine tasting which was really enjoyable as well as having a lunch afterwards that was impecable. We also stayed for one evening which really topped off the day for us. What an incredible outing at Opstal. Karen, the host, came by after check-in where she wanted check in with us, which we really appreciated. The unit, Lady Ansie, was absolutely stunning. I would always recommend this winery, because of what we have experienced. Thank you all at Opstal.
