Farm winery along Blaauwklippen Road
Had the best experience of my life. Dan helped me and a friend study for our WSET Level 3, the best experience I had. Would HIGHLY suggest Kleinood above any other wine estate in the area. This is where the real wine passion is!
I always try to choose small, family-owned wineries and this time I definitely didn’t miss. I’ve been to many places, including the well-known ones with tons of reviews, but somehow my heart led me here. This is truly one of the most beautiful experiences , everything feels so genuine and soulful. The wine is incredible, the olive oil, the honey… even the ceramics are handmade. And you have to try their platter honestly, it’s even better than in some of the more famous places like Delaire Graff. It’s just special. Part of me wants everyone to discover it… but at the same time, I kind of want to keep this place a secret because the vibe here is truly unique 🤍
The real deal! As locals in Stellenbosch we can’t believe it took us this long to visit Kleinood. The wines are exceptional, you can really taste the artistry and thought behind them. The tasting platter was beautifully curated and the ceramicware was absolutely stunning (I wish it was for sale!). Fantastic service (thank you Nicole) and great knowledge from the team as a whole, plus a cellar peek made the whole experience special. We’ll definitely be back, and left with a few bottles! 🍷
Danwinn James!!! Dan the man!!!! What an experience! There are thousands of vineyards! Tastings everywhere! But this! This is the key to a spectacular wine tasting experience! Danwinn! Wonderful tour of the grounds… it a gentleman that exposed you to a true wine experience! 🍷
We had the most magical experience! We went for the wine tasting with a custom vegetarian seasonal platter for a birthday celebration. From the intimate setting to the service, food and wine, Kleinood was the highlight of our trip. Thank you to the team for treating us so well.
