We had such a great experience!! Yes the wine was delicious... But hearing about the soil and climate and how it impacts the wine from owner and winemaker Meyer Joubert made it so much more special. Looks like a great spot for Alfresco dining but we can imagine that it gets really busy over weekends and in season so if you are a group, I would certainly book ahead!! Great deli products to take hone and the gardens are beautiful to wander too... All makes for a great day out

Fantastic wine of the highest quality in the Western Cape - don't miss an opportunity to stop for a tasting. Very friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. They made me fell in love with Tradouw. (Now to find money to buy a plot of land! 😋)

What a lovely boutique wine farm on the way to Barrydale! The wines were delicious, with our favourite one being the Joubert-Tradauw Chardonnay. The deli platter for two was outstanding! If you're in the area, we can definitely recommend stopping in for a platter and a tasting, it's well worth it!

Don’t miss out! Perfect stop when you’re travelling the N62. Probably the best best Chardonnay we had in South Africa. The platters are home made, super fresh and delicious. We had both, meat and vegetarian.

Wine tasting, sales, deli and restaurant set in a picturesque setting on Route 62 near Barrydale. Small range of excellent wines, exceptional barrel-fermented Chardonnay and "R62" red blends. Enjoyed beef burgers and a cheese and meat platter on the veranda. Excellent and friendly service, tasty, generous portions. Recommended.
