Vineyard tastings and lodging at the foot of Limietberg
I got to visit Doolhof today. Granted it was a private luncheon with the owners aligned with the Mining Indaba, but I thought I’d share pictures and impressions. What a very impressive Wine Farm not to mention the Africamps facilities. Wines and foods were superb. I will absolutely be back. The site is simply stunning, nestled into the Wellington Mountains, lush and quiet. What a wonderful day. Thx Doolhof.
Amazing selection and really generous tasting. Buy two bottles & wave tasting fee is something rare these days and all wines (incl reserve and premium) included in tasting, so very impressed all around
This place is the true definition of camping in luxury! The set up in the tents is amazing and has eveything you will need. The hot tub is a nice addition. The scenery is breathtaking right from when you enter into the Estate. The host was also very friendly.
Went to try the wine tasting, which is right next to the restaurant. Can sit outside under the trees, or inside. Very lovely place. Wines are ready to drink now, not much aging required. They do have quite a large selection of wines too choose from.
