A nice breakaway from city life. Peaceful cottages, relaxing spa, 360° beautiful views and nature's fresh air with a restaurant/ wine tasting on your doorstep. A beautiful "hidden gem". Thank you Debi, Roxy and the Clos Malverne team. It was a great weekend away.

We came on a rainy afternoon. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The setting was very nice as we sat on the balcony and was still bright and sheltered despite the bad weather. We had 2 fillet steaks which were well presented and nice but both were overcooked (still very nice - but more medium to medium well done rather than medium rare). My daughter had a pizza which was lovely. One of the reasons we came was because we had heard it was good for children (indoors and out) and it was raining - however it has changed ownership and anything for children has been removed (which may make you want to go more! For us this made the experience on a rainy day not so good). Pinotage was excellent!

An absolutely 5 ⭐ experience. We popped in for lunch. I had THE most divine prosciutto pizza & hubby a perfect fillet 👌🏻 For dessert we had the ice cream & wine pairing. What a wonderful taste sensation 😁 Thank you Blake for your attention to detail, your impeccable service & knowledge. We had the most delightful afternoon.

Decided to have an early lunch and found that the kitchen was not yet ready for service. The staff made us feel welcome and while we waited we indulged in the ice cream and wine pairing. What a treat; very different from what other wine tasting I've done. Food was excellent and we'll definitely return to try out other items. There is a kiddies section to the menu, but I would say this is more a location for adults to break away and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Exceptional Service and Delicious Food! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Clos Malverne, and I was thoroughly impressed – especially with the outstanding service! A special shoutout to Megan, who made my visit truly memorable. I had ordered a main course that didn’t quite suit my taste, and without hesitation, Megan kindly offered to replace it. She handled everything with such professionalism and warmth, ensuring that I had the best dining experience possible. Her attentiveness and genuine care for guests are truly commendable! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was inviting, and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Megan, and thanks to the entire team!
