Bartinney offers stunning views from the grapevines, many different options and prices for all ranges of tastings (I chose one for 140 rand but my friends chose one for 260R, all great!), and all the wines we tried were delicious! We definitely recommend and go back. You can stroll around the property and meet their sweet golden retriever.

Our last stop on the tour and the most picturesque! Absolutely stunning veiws! We skip the wines here and tried the amazing Gin selection, the gentleman at the front of house was outstanding. He made us a beautiful summer fruits gin cocktail which was delicious! This probably was my favourite winery we went to on the tour.

Barrinney definitely has the best terrace and views you could wish for. We actually decided to finish our day here as we thought nothing could surpass it. Tony was so passionate about the wines (especially the reds) plus we learnt what an amazing community is nearby. The Skyfall is a must and this comes from a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine drinker. We shall definitely return.

The views here are the best we experienced on our visit to the Franschoek valley - outrageous!! The wine is great, particularly the cab sav (very nicely aged). The service was great and our waiter was extremely knowledgable and fun (sorry we didn’t catch his name)! If you’re visiting this place as part of the wine tram and find yourself rushed, our top tip - don’t leave!! Get an uber - it’s 100R back to the station and you’ll still be on time :)))

The wine tasting was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The view over the vineyards was breathtaking and incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed an amazingly delicious cheese platter and truly excellent wine. The service was very kind and attentive, and since there were only a few of us, the atmosphere felt very personal and calm. It was incredibly quiet and serene — honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. I never would have expected it to be this special. Highly recommended.
